2020 CPFA Pitching Clinic

Welcome

Welcome to the 2019 CPFA Pitching Clinic Registration

Pitching Clinics will be held most Sundays starting in January at the Champlin Park High School gym.

They will be open to all age groups with any level of experience.  

Cost is $75 per pitcher. 

Dates of the clinic:

Jan: 5, 12, 19, 26

Feb: 16, 23

There will be 2 sessions each night:

6 PM - 7 PM and 7 PM - 8 PM

(No age tiering)

 

Each session will have a max of 8 players.

Please wear warm-ups or shorts, and bring the following items:  Tennis shoes, softball gloves, and water.

ALL PITCHERS MUST SUPPLY THEIR OWN CATCHERS!

Details on the Pitching Coaches:

Lori Scheunemann-George has been involved with fastpitch softball for over 20 years and has worked with our Association as a winter pitching coach for several years. She was an all-conference pitcher at Cooper High School. She also played in one national softball tournament and qualified for another with her summer traveling team. She has been coaching softball and specializing as a pitching coach since 2007.

 

Melissa Johnston has been involved with fastpitch softball for over 20 years as well. Melissa earned five varsity letters, led her team to the HS State Tournament three times, holds the Strike Out record and is in the Hall of Fame at Maple River High School. Melissa is a National Fastpitch Association All American and was selected to the MN All Star team that played in the regional tournament. She pitched for South Dakota State University and was elected to the Academic All Conference and earned four varsity letters while there. She is the Hopkins fastpitch and skills development coach for 14U and has been the head coach for Big Willow Baseball in Minnetonka for 5 years.
